Why join the League of Women Voters?

Because your local Haverford Township League of Women Voters provides the local Voter’s Guide, a Candidates Forum for every contested local political race, and information on Township planning issues.  The League does not support or oppose any political party or any candidate, but does and always has taken stands on issues which its members have studied.  We welcome members of any political party.

As a member of the League of Women Voters, you can:

• Stay informed about issues, including the ones that directly affect your community.
• Make your views heard. As a member of the League you join a powerful force of women and men in all 50 states. When the League speaks, lawmakers listen!
• Sharpen your skills and learn new ones. In the League, you gain valuable leadership, networking and public speaking experience as you learn about and act on important community issues.
• Receive League News. Members get local and state newsletters and national League email alerts about important issues.
